Formulated specifically for carbon steel, the blade oil protects against oxidation and preserves the steel's integrity. The handle wax conditions resin-stabilized wood, keeping it resilient through daily use.

• Hand wash and dry after each use. Avoid soaking, air drying, or harsh detergents.
• Oil occasionally. Especially before extended storage. Camellia oil, as included, is the preferred choice.
• Wax the handle monthly. Treat it as you would a fine cutting board.
• Welcome the patina. The blade will darken and change over time. This is not wear — it is character. A record of your kitchen, your ingredients, your years.
